The "Childhood in Front of the TV" series was born in the spring of 2018, during preparation for the annual exhibition at the Street Art Museum in St. Petersburg. Later the works were transferred to school desks and presented at the "Not Needed There. Not Needed Here" exhibition at MMOMA in late 2018. In early 2019 a mix of popular foreign cartoons and equally popular domestic films became street art in Yekaterinburg, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod.
This series visually represents how modern memory works, blending news, films, TV shows and cartoons into a single collage, reflecting the chaotic and fused memories of a child flipping through TV channels.
